Hello! My name is Milen and I'm new to this forum and to Isuzu. from 1 year I have Isuzu Pickup 1983. Previously it was my grandfather's who bought it secondhand. Now Me and My father are going to repair it. I need some information witch is hard to get here in Bulgaria.
First where can I find more parts about my truck and are there any that can be substituted with other brands. Recently we've had to replace the Oil pump and we've put some that is from Mitsubishi. It runs almost ok, but the noise from it is horrible. The clutch will be soon ready for replacing too and the battery, that's why I'm asking for help - where to find one that will do FINE with my truck?
Another thing my grandfather has lost the VIN number. So I know only this about my truck: Model KB41, MOTOR 16. and some other numbers written under the front hood. Is it possible to tell me is my truck 1.6 engine or not? how much c.c. are there...
About the battery i want to buy Bosch but they are telling me that it has to be 69 or 74Ah (can't remember exactly)?! How much Ah does it really has to be.
We have put an Liquefied petroleum gas with 60 liter bottle. But know my fuel consumption rise up. it was 6.5 - 7.0 without 4x4 switched on now with LPG it is 15 and even more. Can it be because of that the put the pistons (not sure for the wright word) for the gas in the air filter box?
Is there any manual for my truck or any more information that can be found?
Thanks in advance!
p.s. here are some pics of my truck...

Nice truck.

If you go to http://www.partsamerica.com/Default.aspxyou can put in the information about your vehicle, year, model, etc, and can search for parts that will fit your truck. There are lots of universal parts and plenty of parts which interchange freely with other vehicles.

You're going to burn more gas in 4wd than in 2wd, so that is to be expected. I'm not sure what you are asking with the other part about pistons in the air box...can you maybe post a pic of it?

OK! I found most of the things I was looking for in that site that you gave me, but is it possible to tell me how much C.C. is my engine?
It's written under the front hood:
MODEL: KB41
Motor:16
Does this mean that my engine is 1600 c.c. or it is 1900 c.c. as i found it in the site you gave?
