first off i want to say hello to everyone on the board... im new to this site and figured what better place to go on the net forhelpthan an isuzu forum???
well as of two days ago my check engine light came on and my Rodeo started stalling here and there when i was at an idle....its a 2000 with the 3.2 V6 auto
the check engine light started flashing when i would give it any amount of gas when driving, then stay solid when i'd let off the gas.....after a couple of restarts the light wentout but the stalling would continue every now and then.... i hooked up a scanner to my rodeo and it said code 1 of 1.... low voltage to O2 sensor..... bank 2.. im assuming this means one of my2 lower O2 sensors are bad..... i didnt know there was 4 until i got under it....i took both out and cleaned them off.... a bit black... didnt help any and the light just came back on today..... killer of all is that i've got 8 days to inspect it and i have to deal with the new dreadful NYSI laws..... anybody experience this type of problem??? please drop me a line if you think you can help me... would be greatly appreciated...

I just had a problem with my 2001 Rodeo that was running kind of rough, and the check engine light would flash when I pushed on the accelerator and go out when I let up. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the intake manifold gaskets and it seems to be fine now. It was covered under the power train warranty.

I remember reading a TSB about problems with intake gaskets on these vehicles. I may be wrong though. Call the dealer and ask about a technical service bullitin about it. Just cleaning your o2 sensor will not help. How many miles? I would verify from the dealer which set of o2 sensors are bank 2 and then replace. If this is not good pay a shop with a good scanner that will tell exactly what the reading of the sensors are as the vehicle is running. This may cost 60-100 dollars though, but better than replacing all of your sensors. With so many sensors its tough to pinpoint problems. I know I was not much help, but good luck
