I recently had to have my 98 Rodeo Automatic towed however the battery was completely dead and couldn''t be put into neutral with the gear selector.


When theTow operator arrived he went underneath the vehicle moved something mechanical and the truck went into neutral. it was loaded on a flatbed and when done the operator went back under the truck and undid what he''d done.


Now the truck''s gear selector is totally out of whack and I cant even start it (because it''s not in park and I can''t find neutral)


Any idea what he did and if it''s a quick fix?
