Hi y''all!
New to this whole off roading deal since before I bought the trooper I was all about the tuners and racing cars. I am completely new to carb-ed motors considering I deal with fuel injected. I recently picked up an 86 trooper that was painted camo because I thought it would be cool to have, but about 3 weeks later, on my way back from Austin, the car started backfiring and sputtering if I went past a certain miles per hour on the freeway! Uphill was a mess because I had to throw on my hazards because the truck would die and die down! On my way to Austin, the night before, the truck would cruise at 75 mph + WTF? It will be fine until it gets to about 55 mph, then the f-er just pops and gives out like its going to die... my friend said the thing could be just choking out? What do I do? The Trooper only has 156xxx miles on it! |
