I was wondering if someone could tell me if I have a bad compressor.I was driving and everything was fine. All of a sudden hot as heck.I noticed my a/c light was off.I checked my fuses and it was blown.Does this mean the compressor is bad?could it be something else?how much would a new one cost?Any help would be great.

replace the fuse first, if it blows again you know you have an electrical problem. Let us know if it blows the fuse again and we can figure it out.

I did replace the fuse and it blew again. The compressor was making a clicking noise as it came on and off.If that is what it is could you tell me or help me locate a used one?

ours did that unplug the compressor and the change the fuse if it still does it its not your compressor but if it does do it then its a wiring problem. If it does it with the compressor off its in a wire somewhere
