hard start and shift issues
 

I have a 2000 hombre with 2.2 4 cyl and 4l60e trans . 2 weeks ago had to have it towed back because it was not shifting properly . when I started checking into it I found from a start on falt ground or going downhill it would shift slow but it would shift. from a start gong uphill or when coming to a hill it would not shift from 2 to 3unlewss you took your foot off of the gas pedal. as soon as you mashed the gas again it would downshift back to 2nd. it is also hard starting. I checked for any dtc's but there were none. I dropped the pan of the trans and found it clea-no debris. I installed a master solenoid kit with all new solenoids , pressure manifold and new harness , new filter and filled with oil. this made no difference . I have been told if it goes into limp mode it would act similarly , but there are no codes in the computer . I have done nothing about the hard start issue hoping I might . be overlooking something .
anyone have any ideas what this may be ? just seems odd to have 2 issues happen at the same time.
