Suggestion welcome help please read!!

September 4th I took my perfectly excellent running 94' IsuZu trooper LS 190HP dual over head cam four wheel drive to MIDAS MUFFLER in eugene oregon to have the brakes repaired $775.11 for new calipers and rotors and pads fron and rear, I left the vehicle and returned when they called me to retreve the vehicle and brought it home parked in my bfront driveway until:
Sunday September 9th I was going to take the trooper to visit friend in Junction City Oregon:
AT apx 9 PM on 6th stree near lincoln street in down town Eugene Oregon traveling at apx 35MPH the left front caliper falls of and binds the left front wheel stopped solid. the force of motion catapults the vehicle up on that left front wheel the engine rev's to over 8000rpm and t5hen slams down into dry pavement the engine dies and when attempting to restart after settling my nervs
the engine exibited the sounds of metal to metal grinding and seezs to a stop second try the engine rotates but will not start << this is the condition it standes in>>
Midas's business insurance is disputing their responsibility for the damages to my vehicle.
I am forced to pursue small claims court for the maximum possible ammount 10,000 dollars
my vehicle is only worth 6000 on the outside so I am willing to offer a "prior to forcing my actions to diagnose and recover my property " out of court settlement out of the media non disclosure cash settlement of 5000 dollars or a negotiated amount to restore my property.

has anyone ever had this kin of free spinning wheel contact with dry pavement it is almost like a neutral drop but not really because the engine wll rev to above 8 grand just before dropping to the pavement with a locked left front wheel so all the built up torque must be transferred back into the weakest link in the drive train some MUD TRUCK monster jumper told me that they destroy engines all the time by just such an impact any comments?
