Hi guys,anybody advise me please,1997,3.1trooper,just took car to have a/c looked at again,guy re-charged system but fault still remains,air blowng slightly cold now,notice that blue light on switch on dash illuminates for approx 2sec or not at all,could this be a fault leading to a/c not working properly?is it a safety cut out ?

I have a 1997 passport (rodeo). I have checked the coolant level and jumped the compressor. The system appears to be working fine. Something appears to be wrong with the controls. I am attempting to find schematics to aid me in finding solution. If anybody replies to your posting please forward. Perhaps together we can come up with a solution without the expensive option of paying someone else.
