97 rodeo rpm/power drop then recovers

This is a problem I've had for a while now. Every now and then my rpm drops, the accelerator doesn't respond immediately then recovers. I get no idiot lights or anything. Its pretty random, been this way for almost two years and I can't figure it out. I changed out the throttle position sensor and no dice. My only other guess is a fuel problem, maybe the pump? any help or ideas will be much appreciated.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge and turn the key on or have it running. The pressure should be around 40-45psi. You might have a dirty fuel filter and or a bunch of built up moisture in the tank. Learned to keep fuel level high as to avoid moisture problems. You did not mention what your milage on the Rodeo is. Pumps usually last 150,000 miles if filter is changed regularly and that can change if most of its life has been short runs.

Not sure if this helps but hope so.
