I wasn't sure where to post this thread but hopefully this will work. I have a 91 trooper 2.8l V6 5speed. It has been across the country and back many times and i haven't had a problem with it until just recently. The maintainence guys at work think that the engine broke a spring or said it could be a head gasket but they couldn't be sure. I am just looking for some advice. Do i get a rebuilt engine and put that in? Do i start taking the engine apart and try to replace the head gasket and springs? I am going to keep this trooper so parting it out is out of the question. Just looking for some guidance from some more experienced trooper fans. Thanks for any help
