A/C retrofit
Greetings.
I'm new to this forum, and hope to help out.
I just purchased an '81 I-Mark with 1.8L diesel in great condition.
Wikipedia says this model was available from '81 to '84. Before that, it was supposedly a "Buick-Opel" or "Opel-Isuzu". I understand A/C was a factory option, and I would like to add that to this 4 door diesel Deluxe. Looks like the major components are available, but will I have to change the heater box or ducting to install the evaporator core?
Anything else I should know?
Anyone know where there might be one in a salvage yard?
