i was wondering if anyone knew where i could order a new headlight assembly for my hombre? I've been searching for months with no luck and it's really frustrating!!!!!

I'm with you on that one. I've been looking for the past 2 years, and have my headlights ghetto rigged. The brackets are busted, and I had to use wood screws to hold the things together. The only place I found them was direct from the dealer, and they are selling them for $500 each. It's cheaper to do a complete S10 swap. As for me, I am looking at making my own set of headlights. Unless I try a Y2K Amigo sport setup. They look similar in shape, but I doubt the brackets mesh up.

Red Tabs and headlights
Ok, for the tabs, you can try looking at the Chevy S10, or the GMC Sonoma assembly, since they are essentially the same truck. They have the same core support, and everything else. I think the 1998 -03 Sonoma would be your best bet.
Scavenged the junkyards for anything similar to the stock headlight setup. The most similar headlight was to a 2000 Honda Passport, and Rodeo, but the mounting points are way different. I'm sure you can make brackets and get them to work.
However, since I am in the same predicament, and in the research and fabrication mood, I think I'm just going to have to make my own headlights. I'll post pictures when I'm finished.

Yup, you are stuck with what you have. That clips over the adjustment screw. Nobody sells them. I have lens molds for the headlights. I'm building the backside base, for the lamp, but am thinking I'll pirate a set of lenses from a 1998 Sonoma, and pull the lens off of that, and retrofit the Hombre lens I made onto that, and also retrofit an HID projector as well, but am also thinking of LED. We'll see how it turns out.
