2000 Amigo 3.2 2 Wheel Drive 130K Auto


After putting it in park after driving about a half hour the RPM's surge between 1500 to 2000 back and forth. I would turn off the car. And come backin a few minutes and start the car and it's like the problem never exsisted. This has happened before but not all the time. It was about 57 Degrees today (live in AZ)if that matters. Anybody know what causes this and what I can do to repair the issue.
