This is a sticky one at least for me. Right side tail light works normally. With lights off and brake pedal pressed right side tail light comes on. With tail light on and brake pedal pressed right side tail light goes out and right side stop light does not come on. Left side works normally.

Most likely you have a bad bulb or connection. That will make the lights do all kinds of strange things. Replace your bulbs and let us know if it continues.[img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]

 

Changed both bulbs. No difference. Did notice that on the offending side, the bulb seemed to not seat properly. So bought a new bulb holder from Checker Auto and wired it in. Problem solved. There must have beenn a loose or bad connection within the holder. The holder was a GM type $4.99 as opposed to a complete Rodeo assembly for $89 to $132
