RA rodeo 2wd misfire problem
 

Had someone rev the guts out of my 2.4l rodeo the other day and now having misfire problems at mid to high rpms (got no tachometer so can't be specific). It doesn't seem to manage to get past it either it just gets to a certain rpm then can't sputter past it. As it heats up it goes away a little bit but not completely. At warmish temperatures it barely makes 100kmh in fifth.

It's between 2003 and 2009 model with about 227000kms.
Appreciate any suggestions for what may be going on
