Ok guys here is the deal and my first post on these forums. I am at my witts end with this one 92' Isuzu Rodeo 2.6L 4cyl 5SPD my dad owns. I am not used to working on forien autos but I do have many, many hours/years on domestics. To make a long story short I replaced a blown head gasket after we finished up the work the truck will fire but is then drowned by raw fuel. When I say raw, I can take out the spark plugs and gas will spray out when the motor is turned over as if the injectors are stuck open. I have gone through wiring diags and vac. diags and checked all grounds to no avail.

did you remove the dist, if so what number did you place the dist on, if #1 that is wrong you place it on #4, lets start there first

Hmm, you mean as far as which cyl it fires on first? I did set it to #1, your saying it should fire on the #4 cyl first?

Thanks for all help in advance

yes set it on #4 with the crank and cam on the timing marks, they will be both straight up, let me know if this cures your problem
