I have a 1992 Trooper S with almost 200k on her, it’s in very good shape and I have taken great care of her. I have run into an odd problem that I am puzzled with. When driving a few days ago the dash lights all came on and the truck died, I jump started it and drove it home, the lights never went out and the ac/heater controls now don’t work and I still have to jump it to get it started. Any idea what could do this? I had the alternator in mind… but I am just guessing

As with your heater control problem, you prolly have a defective heater control valve.</font> Heater core may be plugged as well.</font>
