DMAX 2018 1.9T Two beeps at startup
 

Hello all,

I have an annoying issue with my 2018 DMAX 1.9.

When I start the car I get two beeps from a hidden speaker up behind the fusebox/coin compartment.

However recently the 'welcome beeps' have started chiming randomly, and now very, very regularly. Driving us all crazy.

Do we know what may be causing this other than a fault ie are these beeps also used as warnings?

If it's a fault then I will simply find the speaker and disconnect, but thought I'd like to check first.
