Hi All, have the dreaded lifter clank on my 94 rodeo 3.2, It is a grocery getter / take the dogs out vehicle. It will pump back up after 5 or 10 minutes of driving. I know what this means and since I must replace the rocker/s I wouldn't mind some info. I do plan on replacing the timing belt, Any other components while I am in there, I dont want to be sorry after I am done. Also, Idon't know the best place to get the parts, can I go used or do I have to go new??Cheap= Good. Should I plan on replacing all rockers and the shaft?? Thanks

IF YOU are plannning on doing the job, then get all new parts rocker shafts an the followers,if you get used ones they proably will be in the same condition as yours.its alot of work to do it twice.get new parts from the dealer.or a good import aftermarket that reliable.any other parts you may need? well just consider the mileage an what hasnt been changed yet, that you can easily do while your there anyway.oil up the new valve train well, when putting it back together an it will last you another 200k or more.
