Hey guys?!? I just bacame the owner of a 1980 Chevy LUV with the 1.8 liter Isuzu engine. Now when I first got the truck it ran pretty decent but a little rough. It also had a problem on start up and I had to prim the carb. Repaired and replaced some vacumm hoses and problem solved. Now onto my real issue!! Just recently my truck began to bog down and then wouldn''t run at all. After inspecting the truck I found oil flooding the carb. To make a long story short I checked the truck out and found that gas had got into the oil pan and was coming up in the carb through the vacumm lines! After draining the oil pan I prolly pulled out about 11 quarts of fuel and oil. WTF?!?! Now from what I can see the only culprit would be the CHECK & RELIEF VALVE as seen if the diagram of the first pic.......

I have a 1980 luv but no issue with oil. However, am having issues with carb. Mind sharing whether yours has a stock carb or weber?
