I own a 1999 Isuzu Trooper, 3.5 liter V-6, 115,000 miles on it. The AC compressor makes a high screeching noise for a few seconds and the noise repeats every20 to 30 seconds seconds. It makes noise everytime the ac clutch disengages and it stops when the clutch engages. A/C system works fine and this problem occurred about a week ago when I started it before I went to work one morning. it wasn't progressive, it just started to make noise that morning and hasn't stopped since. Let me know if you have any suggestions, I hope I can get around replacing the whole compressor. Thanks
