I was driving to work when I started to leave the light, my Amigo jerked once and then I had now power in any gears. My engine would rev up as if I had no transmission. Then I coasted over to the side of the road, and turned to engine off. Now the engine wont start, but I have battery power, and my started is trying to turn everything over. Does anyone Know what I show do? Could it be the Torque converter locked up?

yeah I did that, but what happened was that my transmission went. I had to have it rebuilt. The people I bought it off of Jerry rigged it in just enough to make it work, and it broke the fly wheel and bell housing. and I had internal damage because of it. But it is all better now and I am driving everywhere now. My next trip is to go to Salt Lake City Utah, from Fort Worth Texas.
