Rear differential pinion seal is leaking
 

1998 Amigo 2.2L - RWD

The Rear differential pinion seal is leaking and needs replacement. I have looked online and can't seem to get a consistent part; results often show parts that are supposed to be a "direct fit" yet the specs are different from each other.

I would appreciate some help on this.

I replaced the seal with the right part, fairly uneventful process. Refilled the differential with gear oil.

Took it for a drive, and there is a whine that comes from the back when let go of the gas, similar to "engine breaking." There is a noticeable vibration on the shift stick during that as well.

I will be heading out to the car again in a couple of hours or so. I would really appreciate some suggestions on what to look for.
