Hey all, I own a 1999 isuzu amigo with the 2.2 and 5sp. I noticed that the engine idles at about 1400 RPM, when the owners manual says it should be about 800RPM. Also, if I put the clutch in while im driving, the engine will either hover at the RPM i shifted at for a few seconds, or surge higher first... So i decided to bring it to get scanned. Two codes came up, about the "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit A" and "Idle Air Control Sys. RPM higher than expected"





1. For the IAC: does this mean my IAC Valve is bad?


2. for the camshaft pos. sensor: does that mean it is bad, or is it something in the wiring? since it mentions, "circuit A"?
