Isuzu Forums - Isuzu Enthusiasts Forum - EMC issue after replacing/battery and alternator

I got my Amigo a year ago and it has been great till!I replaced the battery and the alternator on a 1999 Amigo and then could not get the battery and brake light to go off on the dash and no charge either. I did some reading and found out that some of the aftermarket alternators, mine is from Orielly auto parts do not recognize the emc.The blog from Edmonds also said that if you disconnect the emc (red/white wire 1998 rodeo) going to the fuse box it will allow the system to charge.My Amigo does not have the red/white wire but does have blue/white and a green/yellow.I un plugged it and the battery/brakelight went off and the only thing not working is the radio?So any ideas?
