I recently bought a 1999 Isuzu Amigo and would like to replace the Front seats as they are worn out and falling apart. I am finding it rather hard to find these seats. Is the any other seats that can be substituted for them, or is there a web site anyone knows of. I am also finding it hard to find a transmission Shift Soleniod for this thing. Any help would be great. I know Dodge and most American Trucks but Japanese are hard ones.

Hi Micael1234,

I also have a 1999 with worn cloth seats, but rather than changing out the seats, I plan to have them reupholstered. But initial estimates are a bit higher than I expected. Another option is to put seat covers. They can still run up a pretty penny depending on whether you get leather or not. Some are such that they are very tight fitting and snug and look very nice. So for just replacing the seat material, I would consider these two options rather than replacing the seat itself, unless you want to get a seat thathas all the electronicbells and whistles.

Well it really isn''t the upholstery that I am worried about but the driver side seat cushion is crumbling, but maybe I can put a foam pad under it and get some really good seat covers.

Thanks
