So after i bought my 99 amigo, i heard that there had been a recall on the ABS system. Has any one else heard of this? If so, how do i know if mine has been fixed?

 

Call your local (or not so local) dealer and tell them you want to check recalls on yours. They will ask for your VIN then look it up in the computer. Any recalls that havent been done will show up.


I know for sure the recall effects the '99 rodeo but not sure about amigos. Probably does.

 

Ok, thanks for your help. I don't believe it has been performed on mine because when i get in areas of bad traction and hit the brakes, they same to fade ALOT and they vibration from the ABS seems too much.
