i have an 89 amigo 2.6 litre. cranks wont start. no spark or injector pulse. have checked obvious things, fuses, coil, etc. i suspected a faulty crank angle sensor which is part of the distributor. replaced distributor 3 time with aftermarket rermaned, could always get spark after replacing but no injector pulse. then suddenly no spark again. after warranting 2 of them just to have the same thing hapen i think something may be taking out the distributors. a possible bad ecm? before bying one of those wondering if anyone has any input.

 

never mind i found my problem on my 89 amigo. had a bad ground below the intake manifold that suplies ground to the ecm on about 5 terminals. it is close to the coolant temp sensor. glenn
