2001 Trooper with fairly new drive train
I think the insurance company is going to total my 2001 Trooper. I put a new transmission, new transfer case, & new front differential in it between 105,000 and 109,000 miles. It now has 160,000 on it. The engine has a new timing belt and doesn't seem to be damaged. There are 2 brand new Michelins on the rear. A car pulled out in front of me and I T-boned her. My brush guard protected the car somewhat. Radiator was pushed into the engine, but didn't puncture. I suspect the frame is bent where the brush guard mounted.
At any rate, before I just give it to the insurance company for salvage, would anyone be seriously interested in getting their hands on it for parts? This is either the LS or Limited - not sure - but it has everything on it - heated seats, deluxe sound system, etc. And everthing behind the radiator is in pretty good shape except for the sheet metal. I'm in Concord, NC.
