2000 Isuzu Rodeo will not turn over/start, died on highway
Hey everyone,
I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2L V6 automatic transmission that I am having some serious problem with. The other day I was driving down the highway and my vehicle randomly died. I pulled over to the side of the highway and noticed I had dashboard lights and headlights, but that was all. No blinkers, no radio, no tail lights, no dome/interior lights. The car refused to turn over at all, and does absolutely nothing when I try and turn the ignition, no cranking or anything. The only things that had any power were the headlights and the dashboard lights.
I got my Rodeo towed to my house where I have replaced the battery and some ignition fuses. I have cleaned the battery terminal clamps, and battery studs very well. I really do not understand why I have headlights and dash lights but the car will not turn over when you twist the key in the ignition. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
