Need a/c High Pressure Sensor for '99 Rodeo
Greetings all, just found a 1999 Rodeo in decent shape.
My 1st SUV, love the taller ride & handling so far.
I'm a Isuzu newbie in FL, so NEED the a/c, but can't locate the
a/c High Pressure Sensor (mechanic says it's "3 way / 3 pin"
Is that the proper name for this part? Anyone have pics of it?
Would like to know best shops /resources for affordable parts
& any advice for stowing 7' wind-sails on the roof rack.
Many thanks in advance for any info / assist!

ANYONE? Really just need a link to any trustworthy supplier who might have the sensor. Found condenser from compatible Passport, but dryer wont work since Ive the 4cyl / 5spd manual. If there's an alternate fix Its worth a try. Thanks again

I was able to find this. If you scroll about half way down the page it lists a high pressure switch for your car. They also have a phone number you can call.

Thanks for the quick reply Overnite, that's the Binary / 2-Pin part on MOST models, mine needs the Trinary / 3-Pin (only found on manual 5-Spd).
Dave's picked up promptly & I learned it's called Trinary, so one step closer.
Knowing (proper part nomenclature) IS half the battle, yeah? Thx again!

I hope you have had some success with this but in case you haven't, this is what I have been able to find; according to AllData, the OEM part number for the Trinary pressure switch for a 1999 Rodeo with a 2.2L engine and manual transmission is part no. 8971482280. The link below lists these and they are a little expensive but I would give them a call and see what you can find out. You might want to have your VIN number before you call just in case. I hope this helps. Just put the part number in the search toward the bottom of the page and it will take you to the listing.

That's exactly it . Your Sherlock skills are awesome, thanks for digging that up - I've looked at over sixty sites, shops, recyclers etc. TEN TIMES more expensive than the standard binary part, but means I can use this truck through the summer here in FL. (Mainly to get OUT of this bloody oven). Thanks for the save Overnite!
