Thumbs up 94 passport/rodeo lift HELP!!

I am new to this and dont know to much about these cars. Please correct me if i am wrong. I believe the 94 rodeo and passport are the same car just two different emblems. i just recently picked up a 94 passport 4wd auto i think to be a EX due to the wheel mount on the back. I am wanting to put some sort of lift and bigger tires (nothing crazy just enough to play in the mud and some not to difficult trails). This passport is a little rough but i think still has some potential. it being so rough i am hesitant in dropping to much money into it. i have looked at some 3in suspension lifts by calmini i just cant justify dropping 1000 dollars into a car like this just for the lift. i looked at a few body lifts but only found body lifts for a manual. i read for pretty cheap i might be able to just tighten the torsion bars and add shackles to the back. i think the 95.5 and newer can be tightened to a 3in lift with the correct shackles. if this is correct how far can i tighten mine to and what all would i need to purchase to make this possible? how would i go about finding these parts? Would this put to much on the old tranny or is there anything else i need to worry about? i am open to more suggestions just please remember this project is on a tight budget. Thanks in advance.

Default rodeo lift

Howdy from TEXAS!

What lift kit did you end up using?
I have a 92 Rodeo and I want to do the same thing.
Any help you can afford me would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

Pyro
