Hello new here.

I just purchased a 1994 Honda Passport 4x4 Manual.

This car only goes in Reverse... How do I fix this problem? I was thinking of two options... swap the trans for a JDM or try and rebuild the one I have. Ive rebuilt an engine, but never opened a trans before.

Would rebuilding this trans be impossible for a trans newb?

What transmission do I have?

Is there a better place to be asking these questions?

PS the clutch was just replaced. The previous owner was driving the car up a hill when the trans broke and make a weird noise.
