2003 Rodeo clutch fan

Are you having problems with the coolant fan ? What enging do you have ? The 3.2L fan clutch has been discontued and replaced with the 3.5L DI clutch and you will have to buy both clutch and fan to work . Note that when installing a fan on to the engine there is a blue mark on one of the fan bracket studs and a yellow mark on the clutch, these will need to be matched up or it may cause vibration concerns and the bracket may break .

There are also electric fan options. I think I saw a conversion kit on the independant4x website, it may have been somewhere else for the Rodeo but check them out. It's not to hard to do yourself without a conversion kit either. My mechanic buddy is going to do it on my 99; he explained it andit seemed very easy. When it get's done I will post the process, but some parts from an auto wrecker is all one needs. I would describe how to do it now but I would screw something up for sure.
