New Member - 1991 Isuzu Trooper LS
Good Morning Folks,
I'm finally getting around to saying hello.
The GF picked up a 1991 Trooper LS that has been well maintained and hopefully doesn't have any surprises with it.
Truck was an estate sale. The former owner had rebuilt the entire front end and transfer case a month before he passed away. Dual aftermarket exhaust is only 6 months old. Looking at the truck other than some rust (frame looks good) so far the only thing I need is a pair of headlights, and a tune-up.
I'm sure I'll have a hundred questions or more as I go along with this build. The goal is to build up a reliable overland truck to get us out into the great unknown which we happen to have a lot of living in the Pacific Northwest (on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada).
Resources:
Any goto companies for parts? Aftermarket 4X4 goodies? Anyone in Canada specifically?
Tips:
Anything I should know or watch for with this truck? I know I'd like to swap out the auto locking front hubs to Warn or some other bullet-proof manual system.
Cheers for now and will upload photos once I figure out what size the forum needs them in.
Cheers,
Scott
