2000 Honda passport running rougher now

2000 Honda passport running rougher now
The check engine light was on and I had the codes ran it said ERG valve so I took it off and cleaned it. Cleaned intake and the tube that runs from intake to ERG valve. Now it's running rougher but check engine light is off. Any suggestions?
