Question Back two 4x4 lights flashing on trooper insterment pannel on dash

I have a 1999 Isuzu trooper 4x4 w/3.5 on the dash there is a area that shows all four wheels.The back two wheels flash off and on and it says check.How do i fix this?

I had the same problem about a year and a half ago. The dealer told me it was the speed sensors and was going to cost about $1400 to fix. They said it was okay to use without fixing, but you won't have 4H. I still haven't got mine fixed. Kinda pissed that such a costly repair isn't covered under a warranty. When I called Isuzu they told me it was an electircal part and they are only covered for 3 yrs.

My 4wd light flashes, .. Engages and Disengages fine but flashes. I believe it its the front vaccume thats causing it to do this.

4wd is like a piston when you click it in 4wd the piston goes in to engage the wheels , when you press the button to disengage the piston comes out. the problem is my 4wd is physically disengaging but not to the computers knowledge.

To the trucks knowledge the pin is still out further that in should be. I have been told the part is 300 dollars and its called a front 4wd vaccume seal.

ok keep me updated if it works.

I think that you can actually clean the two vaccume lines that are right under the skid plate.
