I need help. I have a 91 Trooper, the radio was working fine except for the display screen which has never showed anything. I bought a cheap cd player so i could see the time and what station it was on. Removing the radio went very smoothly and wiring up the cd player went fine as well. When i pluged up the cd player....Nothing. Then i pluged up the old radio...Nothing. I have checked fuses, and all the wiring looks good. I dont know what else to do, hopefully someone has had this problem and has some advice for me.

Please help

how far into the dash have you traced the wiring? did you use an adapter harness or did you splice the factory harness and wire it in that way? have you checked only the fuses in the interior or have you also checked the fuses under the hood? let me know i have done quite a bit of electrical modding to my pup and i can help you i just need a little more info.
