my 2000 amigo was taking way too long to fire up when cold , stalling at stops and running badly at idle - once up to speed ran great - took to dealer they said intake gaskets so i had them done ($300) went and picked it up and it didn't stall anymore but still didnt run right and still took forever to fire when cold (i also looked at the engine after i got it back and it didn't appear that the intake had even been removed but i couldn't tell for sure) now it is stalling again and they want another $300 for intake gasket(s) - any ideas appreciated thank you

you should run a pressure test done on your intake system. If you have a vacuum leak it will f**k with your idle
