My 95 rodeo with a 3.2 v6 was fully rebuilt with the exception that I reused the valve train(cams, lifters, followers, etc),pretty much everything has been done, but ithas intermittant missing at idle, farting through the exhaust, the thing barely scraped through the e-test, HydroCarbons were 50 on the dyno and 168 at idle. The limits are 50 and 200. Fuel milage is Ok at this point, 28 mpg hwy.

Do these things naturally idle bad orcould I have a timing tooth out? Lean misfire maybe? Could one or more of the lifters be not bleeding down enough, causing the valve to stay open? How would you check for a sticky valve? Compression inno2 cylinder is 25 more than the rest, but may have balanced out now that the engine is more broken in. But I can't see that causing a miss.

I had the injectors all sonic bath cleaned, then they all started leaking, so I replaced them all, I had it scoped, the ignition system looks OK, even across the board, no vacuum leaks that I am aware of, I have no codes and I have not checked the O2 at all.

This thing is driving me nutty,

any help would be appreciated.
