Just recently today my 97 Passport started acting up. I turn the engine on and let it run for a awhile and then the rpm started going up and down between 0-1000rpm. It sound like it was choking on something. What might be the problem? Any help would be great.

I had something very similar and had to replace the brain on it- cost $973 at the dealer with parts and labor. I am not at all happy with it.

I had also something similar , but intermitent, some times everyweek ( Once) some times every two weeks the idle going up about 1500rpm.


NEED HELP .
