ok, whos done brakes; where to get rotors
#1
Done my pads a couple of times over the past couple years, but my rear rotors are wearing badly- the insides are very rough as my inner pads seem to have worn prematurely and ground them down pretty bad.
Im on a fresh set of pads, so probably have a few months to get a set, but I need to replace my rotors. Anybody got suggestions on who has good pricing on rotors? Also, my knowledge is in German car tuning- are Brembo, Powerslot, Wilwood, Stoptech good brands or what should I be looking for?

I just got pads, rotors (and shocks) from:
http://www.IsuzuPartStore.com
I think good prices. Free Shipping. Ground UPS got here overnight.
Ordered for my Rodeo, but all Isuzu's serviced.
PS I got the Brembo rotors (from my days with my 914...?)

thanks... unfortunately I got impatient and found them on www.bimmerparts.com (im also a german car enthusiast) and they have the Brembos for a bit less... only a few bucks, tho.
I only got the rears for now- the fronts look pretty good.

No comments on brakes....(other than the fact that I'm gonna have to replace mine in the next 6 months).
I'm also a German enthusiast. Funny that the Trooper was the best suited SUV for my job, and has an impressive ride (on and off road).
Then I come over here to get advice, and find some other folks who used to and probably still do have at least one German car in the garage w/ their troooper.
Good to see yall over here on this side....Let me know if I can help yall with anything in the future.

Hah! Ichanged my front brake padsthis afternoon, while my '85 BMW 325e sat nearby. Seems lots us us have rotten brakes and German "other" cars!
I've found that, though costly, OEM parts from the dealer work right every time. I've experimented with aftermarket shocks, brakes, etc. None worked as well as OEM. Now I simply cringe, then ante up.
