Help..............I don't know what else to do.... My 1993 Rodeo bogs out on the highway and is using an excessive amount of fuel!!! I have had the fuel filter replaced, the fuel regulator replaced, the lines cleaned and flushed, the EGR valve replaced etc and it's still performing the exact same way. I can only drive about 100kms and use half a tank of gas. Any suggestions? My mechanic is baffled at this point and doesn't have any other ideas of what could be causing it. If you have a suggestion I'd be happy to try anything at this point. Thanks in advance!smileys/smiley19.gif

get him to check o2 sensor voltage, sometimes they will go bad without setting the check engine light,i twill cause heavy fuel consumption ,black smoke from exhaust, low power,an also the map sensor will do the same, make sure that has vacuum going to it an the voltages changes with engine rpm an load.if your engine leaks alot of oil,it gets on your 02 sensor an will damage it,so repair any oil leaks also.try to stay with an O.E sensor, the aftermarket dont work well at all o2 voltage should range....... 0.20v-1.0v rapidly,map......1.0v -4.0v with engine load.Edited by: ISUZUGURU
