I have a 1994 trooper with 200k + and has run trouble free for over 3 years. Last week after setting for sereral days, started it up to head to work and running very ruff and check engine light coming on and off. There had been alot of moisture from the weather we were having. I ran around 80 miles to work and put in high test fuel and a bottle of "slick 50". It seems to run better now but only getting 13-14 mpg now when before I was getting as high as 21mpg highway. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

mine (95 trooper v6 sohc) was running very ruff and check engine light coming on and off. i thought it needed a tune up but i changed the fuel filter frist. but same problem happened. then i went after the o2 sensor but couldn't get it out my self and striped it too. i brought it to meineke muffler they left the old o2 sensor alone and cut a new hole in the muffler for an adapter that holds your new o2. the trooper ran ruff for two blocks and after that its been great since. i spent 65$ for a boch o2 and 32$ at meineke. let me know if it works.
