If you want to go with a winch without getting a winch bumper check with Bansil and RodeoRed on plantisuzoo to see how they mounted winches. Isuzus in general arent very good mud vehicles. They will handle it ok but the alternator sits at the bottom of the engine and does not like mud. Some guys are on their 9th or 10th alternator.

If you want to go cheap and dont mind some excercise or spending alot of time getting out you can always carry a come-a-long and some straps.
