Ok so i am thinking about swapping out my motor on my 1996 isuzu Hombre with a mazda LMK motor. My friend said it can be done, cause he seen it done on a Chevy S-10.
Let me know what you think
waste of time?

Why not go with a Chevy motor since the Hombre is basically a rebadged Chevy? You wont have to fabricate new motor mounts to put the Mazda motor in.

The 2.6L motor goes all the way to 95 in the Trooper and Pickups. If you want to be creative, get a 3.2L out of a Rodeo or Trooper. Alot more horsepower and torque.
