Its illegal in alot of states. Some states you can only have tinted lights during the day time. A much better option is smoke covers.
(old pic before lift, brushguard, dents, scratches, etc.)
They can be taken off when you need to use the headlights. Check with your local laws first though to see if they are legal at all. Here in Colorado you will get different answers depending on who you ask but I've never been stopped for it.
I lost one of my rear ones and had to buy another set but couldnt find GTS brand, had to go with Ventshade and they dont fit nearly as well. Dont wrap around as much so the lights are easily seen around the edges [img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]

Ya, it is illegal in most states. But so is tires that stick out more than 3'' past your wheel wells and people still do that aswell. It is something extra a cop will fine you for but doubtfull you will get pulled over for it.
