I have ________ miles on my Trooper (fill in the blank)


I have 184,588 miles on my 93 Trooper 4x4 5 sp manual. Mine is stock, for now. I have had it since 8/30/05, just over 2 years. Bought it at 165,000 miles. Had to put a new A/C in it, that is about it for maintenance. I had a 92 Trooper before this one, but I ditched it for Auto Trans Problems. My 93 has a stick and I would not have it any other way.

I have a 1996 Trooper with 275,000 owned it since new and have never put anything but a timing belt and water pump on it. Also have a 1986 2 door trooper bough at 100,000 miles and now has almost 600,000 on original everything, 86 is 5 speed, 96 is auto.

71,000 Original owner. 1998 S model auto trans.


Repairs - Fuel gauge sender (under warranty, need another now), tires, loose #1 injector wire (MIL light came on), blower motor ballast resisror (repaired a cold solder joint).


Preventive - Timing belt, drive belt, fuel filter, air filters, 3k~4k mile oil changes, flush transmission once w/new filter, flush coolant 3 times, PCV,transfer case oil only once - I know...smileys/smiley5.gif


Fuel econ 12~13 city / 15~17 highway.

I have 18x,xxx on my 1989 RS. I had to replace the tach and speedometer because the back lights went out. If I had to guess I''d say 181,000. Though it''s not running too well right now.
