I have a 95 Trooper 4x4 v6, and sometimes it won't start. I can put the key in it and press in the cluth (man. Transmission) and all the lights come on on the dash, and what not, then turn the key and nothing happens, there are no sounds or anything. So i end up having to push start it and pop the clutch. The car starts and runs and drives like a new car for a few days and then i will park and go inside somewhere and comeback out and it wont start. I have replaced the battery and cleaned the terminals. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Also, im not sure if this has anything to do with it but there is a light on the dash that flickers it says "U/S".. If any one knows what that is it would also help thanks Brennan

 

the u/s light is the upshift light they say if you fellow it you will get the best fuel econ,
