something weird I saw, maybe someone can help out. I was driving my '92 2.6 from MI to MO and about 3/4 of the way into it I notice the temp guage rising. Long drive on little sleep thought I might be hallucinating, and the gas guage was moving very little, like 270 miles on a 1/2 tank. When I got into city traffic I noticed pretty much all of a sudden like that the gas guage droped a tenth or maybe even a 5th of a tank and the temp dropped also. When I filled up again there was a hiss from the vacuum caused hiss from the tank. I just got the vehicle a couple days before I drove it down. It was my dead Marine brothers' car that was at camp pendleton for the 7 years prior to now. Anybody know if the vacuum pressure in the tank is normal, I've not had enough time to research it.

well alittle is probly fine, mine did the same, but your gage shouldnt be moving,, the only thing you realy can do is check the air vent hose, if you look under your car where the filler neck is there is a little house that lets the air out/in, just make sure its not kinke for some reason.
